Xeriant Initiates Commercial Production of NexBoard™

Universal Construction Panel™ Sees Growing Interest Across Applications

BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 31, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xeriant, Inc. (OTCQB: XERI), a company dedicated to the discovery, development, and commercialization of transformative technologies, today announced that it is initiating production of NexBoard™, its patented and certified universal construction panel. Xeriant has engaged a leading contract manufacturer with the capacity to support high-volume commercial output, which will allow the Company to fulfill sample requests from leading homebuilders and commercial construction firms.

“Starting commercial-level production is a defining milestone for NexBoard and Xeriant,” said Keith Duffy, CEO of Xeriant. “We now have a manufacturing partner capable of high-volume production to supply the pipeline of major builders, developers, and construction companies evaluating NexBoard for multiple applications on the same job site.”

The production campaign follows the successful completion of independent third-party fire certification testing, in which NexBoard achieved a Class A rating under ASTM E84 and passed the NFPA 286 corner room burn test. Additional laboratory results have demonstrated industry-leading performance in impact resistance, tensile strength, chemical resistance, water absorption, and mold resistance compared with conventional drywall, magnesium oxide (MgO) board, OSB, MDF, and plywood.

Because of its high-performance profile, Xeriant is positioning NexBoard as a universal construction panel, a single product platform designed to replace multiple traditional materials across a wide range of construction applications, including interior walls and ceilings, semi-structural applications, subflooring, roofing underlayment, exterior sheathing, and other uses. Unlike gypsum drywall and many wood-based panels, NexBoard can be exposed to weather without the same vulnerability to water damage or mold growth.

“The potential of one panel to replace several conventional building materials, while providing superior fire, moisture, and durability characteristics, could have significant implications for construction cost, efficiency, and long-term building performance,” stated Mark Sternberg, Director at Xeriant.

Sternberg continued, “We also believe those advantages could ultimately help lower both construction and lifecycle costs, an increasingly important consideration as the industry looks for more economical ways to address global housing demand.”

NexBoard is an eco-friendly composite construction panel made from recycled plastic and fiber waste and incorporating Xeriant’s proprietary Durazite™ fire-retardant technology under the DUREVER™ brand. It is designed as a highly durable alternative to traditional construction panels while delivering certified fire performance, low moisture absorption, and environmental sustainability.

The Company intends to provide additional updates on production, customer evaluations, comprehensive testing and performance data, and commercialization as information becomes available.
